Organisers are reporting that registrations for entries to the 2009 Business Travel World Awards are the highest ever

Claire Snarey, event manager, told businesstravelworld.com, “The entry site is attracting interest from some of the most established names in the business as well as some new exciting players.  It looks like it’s going to be a great competition and that will make for a great party in January.”

 

Entry deadline is Friday, 17 October and no extensions will be granted.

 

Judging dates are 20 November, 21 November, 27 November, 28 November and 2 December and entrants are strongly urged to tentatively reserve all these dates.  Business Travel World can not allocate categories to dates until after the entries close on Friday, 17 October in order to ensure that there are no conflicts of interest as no judge is allowed to be present at any stage of the deliberations on a category in which he/she or his or her employer might have an interest.

 

All entrants are secure in knowing that content of submissions will not be publicised as all judges have signed a non-disclosure agreement.  The 2009 BTW Awards judges are Simon Barker, Conferma; Bernadette Basterfield, J P morgan Chase; David Brown, Travelport; Greg Nugent, Eurostar; Peter Reglar, Ickenham Travel Group; Andrew Solum, TIA Global; Richard Tams, British Airways; Floyd Widener, Carlson Wagonlit Travel; and Ray Wooldridge, Bank of America.
