The Business Travel World Awards 2009 will be launched this evening at a party at the London Marriott West India Quay.

The Business Travel World Awards 2009 will be launched this evening at a party at the London Marriott West India Quay.

The new judges – Simon Barker, Conferma, Bernadette Basterfield, J P Morgan Chase; Greg Nugent, Eurostar; and Peter Reglar of Business Travel Direct – will be introduced to sponsors and last year’s winners. They will join those 2008 judges who will continue on the 2009 panel: David Brown, Travelport; Andrew Solum, Travel Industry Associates; Richard Tams, British Airways; Floyd Widener, Carlson Wagonlit Travel; and Ray Wooldridge, Bank of America. New categories and a new process will also be unveiled.

Awards news will be regularly posted on the Awards site. Entries and table bookings go live on the site tomorrow.

The 2009 Business Travel World Awards are sponsored by Barclaycard Business, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Eurostar, Evolvi, Hotelscene, HSBC, Marriott and Qatar Airways.
